Commercial Shade Structures In Riverside: Lakes at Hemet sought out our expertise for shade structures that would create a more enjoyable pool experience for their residents.

The Challenge

The Lakes at Hemet swimming pool is quite large, 80’ x 40’. Shading the entire pool wasn’t practical or what the client wanted. Afterall, a pool is about staying cool while still being able to enjoy the benefits of the sun. Although they already had some shade around the perimeter of the pool where guests lounged, once they entered the pool there was no escaping the direct sunlight

Our Solution

By listening to the client, we collaborated with them and designed a commercial shade structure that accomplished their goal. Our solution was to create a shade structure that spanned the entire pool width, 40’, and extended out approximately 10’ over the shallow end of the pool. This provided ample space for guests to wade and enjoy the coolness of the pool water while being protected from the direct sun
