Park Playground Equipment In Central California: Zoom Recreation was hired to to renovate and replace the existing commercial playground equipment, benches, picnic tables, trash cans, water fountains and barbeque grills.

The Challenge

We designed a new park playground equipment and site amenities that fit within Madera's budget, space and desired design. We manufactured and facilitated the playground installation and the replacement site amenities. In order to help keep the project in budget and offer the most economical designs, the city was looking to leverage a purchasing contract and cooperative. They were looking to view proposals on multiple purchasing cooperative contracts.

Our Solution

We have access to several purchasing contracts such as HGAC, CMAS and BuyBoard purchasing contracts. We put together two different purchasing contract options for their review. In the end, the city went forward with an HGAC purchasing contract, which saved the project 12% on the cost of materials.
