Theme Playground Structures In Los Angeles: The Zoom team designed a custom Nature theme playground for Sequoia Park in Monterey Park, California. We were asked to design, engineer, and manufacture play equipment to fit the park’s existing footprint, two circular areas.

The Challenge

The goal of each of these projects was to improve public safety by replacing the aging equipment and incorporate one-of-a-kind themes into each of the designs to enhance imagination and nurture local community interactions. We were challenged with a Nature theme for the equipment to accent the park's name and the tree canopies all around the play area.

Our Solution

Luckily, Themed play structures are our strong suit! We provided two separate nature themed playgrounds catering to both the 2-5 and 5-12 age groups. We incorporated a Net Climber as well to add a climbing element and encourage upper-body strength training. We also added musical equipment such as a Flower, Butterfly, and Mushroom musical instruments to spur creativity and help introduce music to the children of the area.

One-Of-A-Kind Treehouse Play Structure

Using our sustainable 6" square recycled plastic series, the Treehouse playground was provided for the 5-12 age group.

Insects In Nature Play Structure

Using our 5" steel series, the Insects in Nature playground was provided for the 2-5 age kids.
