Commercial Playground Equipment In Central California: Zoom Recreation designed and installed a new 2-5 aged playground for Sespe Elementary in Fillmore, California. The design included a new playground structure, two musical instruments, and bright green pour-in-place playground surfacing

The Challenge

The previous playground was closed off for 3 years because it was unsafe to elementary school students due to the fall height. Sespe Elementary finally got approved for playground renovations, however, the deadline for project completion was extremely tight. The team needed to remove the previous structure, and design and install a new playground that included valuable play elements and pour-in-place surfacing within just a few months.

Our Solution

By successfully coordinating between the installation team, safety surfacing team, and the client, Zoom Recreation was able to fulfill the client’s vision and complete the project in a timely manner. Zoom Recreation designed and installed an age-appropriate and safe playground structure with complementary green pour-in-place playground surfacing. The team also maximized the space's play value by adding two musical elements: Griffin and Rhythm.
