Commercial Shade Structures In Phoenix: Zoom Recreation completed a project for Springs at Stadium Apartments in Surprise, Arizona. The team designed and installed two commercial shade structures to provide sun protection for the apartment complex's outdoor pool area.

The Challenge

This project was challenging from start to finish as we had several constraints placed unexpectedly upon us. With this being a new-build apartment complex, coordinating our work along with the trades/contractors completing the adjacent pool was a pain point. After production of the columns had been completed, we were informed that the architect assigned to build out the site plan did not correctly account for the right layout of our shade structures—so we had to quickly devise a plan to counteract the mistake.

Our Solution

We had to quickly pivot to reduce our sizing down for the Multi-Dome Hip Sun Shade from a 30'x40'x10' to 25'x50'x10'. Within just two to four weeks, we were able to make the necessary adjustments and install two beautiful sun shade structures: a Multi-Dome Custom Canopies Hip Shade and a 12'x12' Custom Canopies Hip Shade.
